A Cowboy's Life: DIY Silly Putty

DIY Silly Putty

9:42:00 AM

This stretchy, bouncy silly putty is good for hours of fun! We were a little skeptical while mixing it all together, but it turned out better than we would have thought.

Supplies needed:
Liquid starch
Glue
Fingerpaint (We used this because it washes off hands easily)

Step 1
Start by mixing about 1 cup glue and 3/4 cup starch. You will have to keep mixing in a little glue and starch to get the right consistency.

Step 2
Once the mixture starts sticking together, add a bit of paint in for color.

Tips
You might be mixing it for awhile and start to think this is never going to work. But it slowing turns into this cool, stretchy putty type material. You can store it in a Ziploc bag and it will keep for several days.
