A Cowboy's Life: Goals for the New Year

Goals for the New Year

8:11:00 AM

Each year instead of writing resolutions, we write out goals that we want to obtain for the year and if needed the steps to accomplish them. We then look back at the goals we wrote the previous year as well as our long term goals and see where we stand. I truly believe that if you have a dream, but only keep it in your mind all it is, is a dream. But if you talk about it and write down steps to achieve it, it becomes real and not just a dream.

Here are a few of my goals for the new year:
  • Study the Bible more
  • Read at least 1 industry related book a month
  • Get blog going - schedule, photos, etc.
  • Use media as little as possible around Carson. I do not want him to think that my iphone/computer is more important than him!
  • Finish 4th of July quilt (before independence day!)

  1. I also made a resolution involving the Bible. I was raised in the church, but I've never read the whole thing through. That's going to change in 2014 :)
