A Cowboy's Life: California Dreaming

California Dreaming

9:58:00 AM

We recently spent a week in San Diego celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and enjoying the beautiful weather. Our bungalow at Paradise Point was perfect and right on the beach - couldn't have asked for anything better! We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach, playing in the sand, sunset dinners and exploring the city.

One day we took a trip to Balboa Park to the visit the Air & Space Museum, and my little guy is now all about airplanes and Chuck Yeager! We spent the rest of the day exploring the 1,200 acre park filled with museums and beautiful architecture. The grounds were absolutely stunning.

We headed over to Mission Beach for dinner and to watch the sunset on our last night. It was one of the highlights from the trip - just so beautiful. However, Carson was not a big fan of seeing the sun disappear. Ha, such a sensitive boy at times.

Looking through all the pictures makes me want to go back!

  14. I love this age. He is such a little man. Looks so cute. I wonder though when I see other toddlers if moms are going through the tantrums I go through at times with my 28 month old. This looks like a really beautiful place. I can see why your boy was sad when the sun went down. Thanks for sharing your lovely experience with us at the Creative Style Linkup!
