Finding Time to Exercise

We are all busy. Whether you stay at home with the kids or work outside the house, time is limited. Not to mention that we are just exhausted!

Since I work at a University, there is a nice workout facility with group exercise classes offered during the lunch hour. This is about the only time during the day that I can exercise. I only get a few hours each evening with my son and I don't want to spend them sweating in a gym! If the weight room isn't an option for you during work hours, you can still spend that time going for a walk outside. Not only is working out a great stress reliever but I typically have more energy afterwards.

On the weekends we try to do some sort of physical activity, a walk around the neighborhood or a trip to the park to just get us moving. I will say that it is hard to get going at first, but once you make exercise a habit, it just comes second nature to make time for it in your busy day.
