A Cowboy's Life: Fun Times At Legoland

Fun Times At Legoland

I was given tickets in exchange for this blog post. All opinions are 100% my own.

legoland
We recently took a trip to LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Grapevine for an afternoon of rides, watching a 4D LEGO movie and building LEGO cars.

This was my son’s first experience with LEGO’s and he had a blast! We started the day off by riding a chariot on the Kingdom Quest and zapping the bad guys with lasers. Then we headed over to Forest Ranger Pursuit on a fun driving adventure. This was so funny to watch! He would push the pedal down for a few seconds before running into the wall. This is how I imagine parents feel when teaching their teenager how to drive.

I was amazed at all the objects you can create with these little blocks. There is an entire room filled with models inspired from landmarks surrounding the DFW are. Everything from the city skyline, DFW airport, sports stadiums, ranches and many more.

They also offer two different play areas for the kiddos – filled with soft LEGO bricks, climbing wall, slides and a jungle gym. Just remember to bring socks which are required. When exiting the park, you walk through the store and can find just about any set or souvenir.

As soon as we left, my son was already asking when we could come back. What a fun day!
