A Cowboy's Life: Date Night...What's That?

Date Night...What's That?

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Calvin Klein. I received product samples to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Date nights are never the same after you have kids. Am I right?! No more spontaneous nights out or spending hours just to get ready.  Dates have become a bit more casual for us, but just as fun, if not better than before we had our son. I guess because now, it's something we don't take for granted anymore and appreciate those times when we do get to slip away from parenting duties.

A couple of nights ago my mom wanted to hang out with Carson, so I jumped at the opportunity for an evening with the hubby. I recently received a bottle of euphoria Calvin Klein and thought this would be the perfect time to see if my husband likes the fragrance as much as I do. Purchase this fragrance at Dillard's through Mother's Day (May 10) and you will receive a free orchid with purchase.

It's hard at times for us moms to pamper ourselves and feel sexy when we are constantly in mom mode. My husband is always telling me how great I look in green, so I knew he would love this Ralph Lauren shirt I recently bought at Dillard's. Pair it with some pearls and a few spritz of euphoria Calvin Klein and I am ready for our date night. The seductive floral scent that contrasts exotic fruits provide an amber and mahogany wood scent has you feeling intoxicating. Trust me, you and your significant other will love it!

We spent the evening walking around our town center doing a little window shopping and sharing a bite of ice cream. We had planned on going to dinner, but a tornado warning made us decide to skip dinner and go right for the dessert. It was such a fun and relaxing evening being able to be just a wife for a few hours. Definitely need to start planning date nights more often - just not during tornadoes!

You don't have to plan days in advance and have reservations at some fancy dinner to have a romantic night out. Just having a few hours of walking, talking and enjoying each others company can break up the monotony of everyday life. Little things like a new top and perfume can really spice up the date!
