A Cowboy's Life: Splish Splash

Splish Splash

7:27:00 AM

I don’t know about you, but I am tired of this constant rain! Of course, I am happy that Texas is out of a drought and the lakes and ponds are full. But my goodness, this weather is ridiculous! I am itching to hangout by the pool while soaking up some rays, get back to our evening walks as a family and not worry about if we need to take cover because of a possible tornado. But then again, sometimes rainy days are just what you need.
  • It’s the perfect weather for snuggling up on the couch with a good book
  • The beautiful rainbows after the storm
  • Green grass everywhere
  • A good excuse to stay in and cook your favorite comfort foods
  • Great for taking long naps
  • Excuse to have an indoor campout with your kiddo
Our prayers go out to all the families who have lost property, memories and loved ones in the recent flooding and tornadoes.

  2. Visiting from Coffee Date! We've also been been getting rain here in New Mexico. Everything is green and beautiful. I love, love, love rain. Thankfully we haven't had near as much rain as the people in south Texas and Dallas. They definitely need some prayer.

  6. You poor folks down in Texas. I have been following the story on The Weather Channel. It is pretty bad down that way. Here's wishing you all the best!

  7. I read somewhere where Texas got like two year's worth of rain in just a few days. That is amazing, and scary at the same time. You folks take care!

  11. I love your positivity! These are some of my favorite things about rainy seasons. Curling up with a good book and opening the windows to listen to the rain hitting the pavement is such a lovely thing!
