World's Best Taco Pie Recipe

7:00:00 AM

I could eat Mexican food everyday, it's just so good! This take on taco salad is easy, delicious and is the perfect one dish meal.

Ingredients:
1lb. lean ground beef
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1/2 cup water
1 Frozen pie crust
1 can black beans
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped onions
2 cups shredded lettuce
1/2 cup chopped cherry tomatoes
Cilantro
Guacamole

Directions:
Heat oven to 375 and cook pie crust until slightly brown. Cook ground beef in skillet until thoroughly cooked. Drain, stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Drain and heat can of black beans in separate pot.

Take pie crust out of oven and spread beef on the bottom layer. Add black beans and then a layer of cheese. Place in oven and cook for 5 minutes.

Top pie with lettuce, onions, cheese, cherry tomatoes and a scoop of guacamole.
