Star Gazing Party

I absolutely LOVE summer and try my hardest to make it extra special for my family. We like to host a dinner party each summer serving great food, a fun theme and this year we chose a Star Gazing party! My parents have a big pool, which is the perfect setting on hot nights and they graciously let us take over their home for the night.

Enjoying an evening poolside, gazing at the stars and eating scrumptious food made for a perfect party. Guests nibbled on potato skins, grown up grilled cheese, fresh veggies, Kraft Dips, cupcakes, cookies and ice cold drinks. Nights like this, makes me wish summer could last forever.
Grown Up Grilled Cheese

My favorite dish was the grown up grilled cheese. It’s a great twist on the classic sandwich and everyone thoroughly enjoyed them.

To make the sandwiches you will need:
Sourdough Bread
Kraft Green Onion Dip
Mozzarella Cheese
Spinach
Avocado slices
Butter

Directions:
Step 1. Place pan on stovetop and turn heat to medium.

Step 2. Take two slices of bread and add butter to one side.

Step 3. To assemble sandwich, spread Kraft Onion Dip on bread and add mozzarella cheese, spinach and three slices of avocado slices.

Step 4. Cook until bottom is golden brown and then carefully flip sandwich to opposite side and cook until brown.

Step 5. Slice sandwiches in two and serve warm.

But a party wouldn’t be complete until you have fun decorations set up! You can download and print these silver glitter star bunting and cupcake toppers. My husband designed these beautiful posters and placed them in frames we already had. On the serving plates, draw outlines of constellations with a sharpie. The stars are big and bright in Texas, so of course we saw plenty!

Be sure to head over to Wal-Mart so you can pick up the newly packaged Kraft dips in Green Onion, French Onion and Bacon Cheddar. These are great compliments to the sandwich and for dipping the veggies in.
