A Cowboy's Life: Favorite Fall Activities

Favorite Fall Activities

The first day of Autumn is still a few weeks away, but in mind it's already Fall. I try to ignore the warm weather in hopes that it will go away and the leaves will begin to change. So in honor of a new season, here are my top 5 favorite Fall activities:

Friday Night Lights. Sitting on medal bleachers and cheering on your local high school team is so fun and nostalgic.

Saturday Gameday. I LOVE college football. Whether we are watching from our seats at Amon G. Carter Stadium cheering for the Horned Frogs or lounging on the couch in front of the tube, it's my favorite way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Pumpkin Patches. I enjoy walking through rows of pumpkins to pick the perfect one to decorate. Not to mention enjoying a hayride and munching on carmel corn.

Getaways. Every year we take a Fall trip to a small town for the weekend and rent a cabin. The weekend is usually filled with fishing, hiking and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Roasting S'mores. Sure this can be done any time of the year, but seems to taste better in the Fall. The air is crisp, the fire is warm and perfect for hanging out by the the fire pit.
