A Cowboy's Life: Perot Museum + Giveaway

Perot Museum + Giveaway

One of my favorite activities to do with Carson is to take him to museums. Especially the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. His brain is a little sponge and always learn so much and has much fun exploring each exhibit.

We went so we could check out the new Creatures of Light: Nature's Bioluminescence traveling exhibition. The new exhibit features replicas of glowing mushrooms, vampire squid, flickering fireflies and live flashlight fish.

After exploring the Creatures of Light, we went to see the 11 permanent exhibit halls that include dinosaurs, sports, minerals and birds to just name a few. With six floor of interactive exhibits, gift shop, restaurants and theater, there is plenty to keep the kids (and adults) entertained for the day. Our last stop for the day was watching the Walking with Dinosaurs: Prehistoric Planet 3D. This was Carson's first 3D experience and he had a blast! This is a must do when at the museum.

The museum is open from 10am-5pm Monday through Saturday and noon-5pm on Sunday.

Want to win a family 4 pack to the museum? Leave a comment below and you will be entered to win. Winners will be selected Sunday, November 29.

  6. We tend to make Dallas a stop in Texas when we visit my brother in law and always hit up a museum. This looks like a good one that would keep my boys entertained for hours while we stretch our legs.
