Christmas lights, trees, family get-togethers, fantastic food, celebrating the birth of Jesus and plenty of gift giving is what the holidays are all about. My family actually started the season off on Saturday with a Christmas party with my siblings – the first time we have all been together in four years. It was a wonderful evening of reminiscing about our childhood, exchanging gifts, eating rotisserie chicken from Walmart and of course enjoying ice cold Coca Cola.

Since we all had been in the kitchen cooking up Thanksgiving dinner two days prior, we opted to let our local Walmart deli do the cooking for us. Dinner included rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, fried okra, macaroni & cheese and banana pudding. Nights like this makes me wish December could last a few weeks longer.

But a party wouldn’t be a party without festive decorations! To create this Coca-Cola Rock n Roll themed party you can download and print these place settings. I added shredded white paper as the runner, lights and these white bottles as vases. Put a few glass ornaments on the table and fake flowers in the vases and you have a fun and festive table decor for the evening!

Supplies needed to make the vases:
Plastic Coke bottles
Matte white spray paint
Dish soap

How to make the centerpiece vases:
  1. Soak the bottles in hot, soapy water and let sit for an hour.
  2. Wipe off the labels and dry. Screw the bottle caps to a board outside.
  3. Twist on the bottle and spray paint. Let sit until dry.
  4. Unscrew the bottle, and you now have the Coke vases.

Did you know that every Walmart Deli prepared meal with Coca-Cola purchased in November and December will go to providing a meal a meal to families through the Salvation Army? These donated meals will go to families in need so they that they can enjoy the holidays together over a warm meal. Use #GiveHappiness to share a picture of your family enjoying Coca-Cola and meal from the Walmart Deli to help spread awareness of the program.

How do you celebrate with your family? Do you let Walmart do the cooking for you?
