Carson is especially impatient when it comes to waiting for his breakfast. So on Saturdays I like to have a little craft set up to keep him occupied while I slowly get his meal prepared. This past weekend, I had him make a paper hot chocolate cup. He finished just as breakfast was on the table!
3 sheets of construction paper (any color)
- Using one sheet of construction paper, cut out a square to be used as the cup and a “C” for the handle. With separate piece of construction paper, cut out an oval to be the hot chocolate.
- Then cut out several squiggly lines for the steam.
- Glue on the handle and oval paper.
- Then glue on the steam.
- Finally add a several dots of glue on top of the cup and place on the marshmallows.
Feeding America food banks each year. Milk is the most requested, but is the least donated item which means children are missing out on the essential nutrients and protein that milk supplies. I know how much my little guy loves his milk and it’s heartbreaking knowing that kids in our own neighborhood are going without simple necessities.
