4 Stretches For Back Pain

The days of being a high school and college athlete are long gone. I used to spend hours a day on conditioning, team practices and perfecting every pitch. But once I hung up my cleats, the years caught up to me and left me with a constant achy back.

I think it was all those years of twisting my back for every pitch. But I’m not going to have a little back pain get me down. I do a few stretches in the morning and then it’s off to the gym, taking care of my family and daily adventures with little man. Moms don’t have the luxury of taking sick days, so I have to make sure to do my daily stretches to help overcome the pain.

Here are a few stretches that help start my morning off right: 
  1. Knee to chest (rock side to side) 
  2. Straight leg seated twist 
  3. Extension stretch 
  4. Legs up the wall
