The days of being a high school and college athlete are long gone. I used to spend hours a day on conditioning, team practices and perfecting every pitch. But once I hung up my cleats, the years caught up to me and left me with a constant achy back.

I think it was all those years of twisting my back for every pitch. But I’m not going to have a little back pain get me down. I do a few stretches in the morning and then it’s off to the gym, taking care of my family and daily adventures with little man. Moms don’t have the luxury of taking sick days, so I have to make sure to do my daily stretches to help overcome the pain.

Here are a few stretches that help start my morning off right:
  1. Knee to chest (rock side to side)
  2. Straight leg seated twist
  3. Extension stretch
  4. Legs up the wall
Pair my morning stretches with a couple of Curamin® Stop Pain Now and I’m ready to tackle the day pain free. What I like about Curamin® is that it’s effective in keeping my back pain at bay. It is a safe, non-addictive herbal formula that doesn’t have negative side effects like some over-the-counter pain medications. It doesn’t just mask pain, it gets to the source and stops it!
Lately my son and I spend our afternoons going on some sort of adventure outside. We like to switch it up between playing at the park and going on hikes. And with my back pain under control, I can keep up with my son on the trails and chase after him at the park!
How do you deal with daily aches and pains? Make sure to pick up Curamin® which is available at fine health food stores nation wide. You can search the store locator to find a retailer near you.

  2. The picture of you and your son are so cute! My husband does these stretches daily. I could be better about doing them, but I think he needs it more since he spends all day hunched over textbooks!

  4. This is great and I could use these tips! Ever since having my fourth baby five weeks ago my back is sore at times and never know what to do besides laying flat. This will help stretch it out and hopefully provide some discomfort!! Thank you!

  5. My husband does a few of these every morning too. He threw his back out a few years ago and can really tell when he forgets to stretch!

  6. I have issues with back pain too, I would say it is work-induced. Sitting in front of a computer screen for long hours at a time has given me back pain. Stretching helps but a good pain reliever like Curamin is the best buddy to have when pain strikes.
