School starts in two weeks and I can’t believe my baby is going to be a kindergartner! The excitement and anticipation of the first day of school has been building and I think my son is most excited about eating lunch with his classmates.
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will be my go-to lunch option. It’s quick, easy and I know for sure he will eat every bite of it. But instead of making a plain sandwich, I like to make these fun PBJ Fruit Kabobs. My son loves them and it gives him energy to get through the day.
Kindergarten will be jammed packed with so many fun learning activities and will be so busy that he needs a lunch that will refuel his little body. Having a new schedule and going to school for 7 hours straight will be an adjustment for him and I need to make sure he has the energy to power through the school day.

Here is what you need to make PB&J Fruit Kabobs: 


Jif Creamy Peanut Butter

Smucker's Strawberry Jam



  1. Cut bread into circles using a glass or biscuit cutter.
Spread on a layer of Jif Creamy Peanut Butter & Smucker's Strawberry Jam on a circle bread and top with another circle of bread.

  3. Using a wooden skewer, place the fruit onto the skewer and slide them down.

  4. Add the PBJ sandwich onto the skewer and slide down until it touches the fruit.
Add more fruit to skewer, additional sandwich and top off the end with fruit.
